Budapest Autumn Festival (now: CAFe Budapest)

Hungarian Festival running every year since ?

The Budapest Spring Festival’s sister event, the CAFe Budapest (former Budapest Autumn Festival) specializes in avant-garde and contemporary culture. Annually, it presents world class and top-ranking international and Hungarian art of various genres, and is now one of Europe’s leading festivals of contemporary art. Established by the Municipality of Budapest, it has since 1992 evolved into an all-arts festival, embracing all the different genres of contemporary art. Its prestige is such that many productions time their productions or shows to open at the Festival before they start their tours elsewhere in the world. The festival’s offerings take place in various venues across Budapest.
